Because, make no mistake: they intend to persuade government to do just that, and our government is all too willing to oblige.
Environmental conservation is one important aspect of quality of life, but it isn’t the only one. Sensible priorities strike a balance between scorched earth exploitation and extreme environmental protection that would roll back 200 years of actual progress.
